Fall on the Monarch Nature Trail

Fall brings yellow flowers to the MNT. Golden bush is in its prime and encelia is flowering since it got rain from the hurricane. Fall flowers are important to pollinators so they have nectar to eat at this time of the year. The peak season for monarchs is past, but I did spot one on the golden bush. There are many other butterflies on the trail now including several types of blues, painted ladies, skippers, buckeyes, and more. It's a good time to take a walk on the trail and observe the butterflies.
